The Schumann/Wallis Project
Here you will find information, recordings, practice tracks, and scores for the Schumann/Wallis Project concert which will take place in January of 2027. MontoyaMusic.com will team up with Cantori sine Nomine of the Chorale Bel Canto (Whittier, CA) and conductor, Dr. Linda West Brown to present my new works and arrangements.
1. Waiting, Near Harwood, for SATB, harp & string orchestra. WORLD PREMIERE, January 30, 2027 - 4pm at First Friends Church, Whittier. Text by William Wallis, from his forthcoming novel Kafka in Carbondale.
2. Dichterliebe (The Poet's Love) - Complete arrangement of Robert Schumann's solo vocal masterpiece, for SATB choir, soloists, harp & string orchestra.
Both works also come in vocal/choral versions (provided here in PDF form.) The resources below are intended for those working on the premiere performance. Please contact me if you are interested in performing any of these works. The orchestral scores and parts are also available from the composer/arranger.
